The BUPATHIRAJU RAMACHANDRA RAJU & GOPALA KRISHNAM RAJU CHAMBERS DEGREE COLLEGE was established in the year 1994 and hence has been working from the academic year 1994-95 with the blessings of lord Sri KSHEERA RAMA RAMA LINGESWARA and with the permission of govt of A.P.
The motto of our educational society is to provide quality education to the students belonging to economically backward sections with very low fees. The society was formed by philanthropists only.
Sri MAMIDI NAGESWARA RAO and Sri ADDEPALLI RAM PRASAD were the founder president and the Secretary & Correspondent of the educational society. With a view to develop the college and improve the facilities, the management collected donations from philanthropic benefactors, institutions and generous citizens. The amount was utilised for the construction of various blocks and to improve the labs etc. Our management is giving fee concessions to the poor students and providing free mid-day meals to needy students.
Sri Koppu Satyanarayana became the president of the governing body in the year 2008. He is mainly responsible for the phenomenal grouth and development of the college. He appointed Lion Darisi Srinivasa Rao Gupta as Secretary & correspondent. He has been a source , strength and inspiration to the principal and the staff. Lion Karumuri Sri Ramulu and Sri. Solasa Trinath are rendering their valuable services for the all round development of the educational society as additional chairman and treasurer respectively.
The college is affiliated to ADIKAVI NANNAYA UNIVERSITY, RAJAMAHENDRAVARAM. It has an excellent accommodation with impressive infrastructure, such as administrative block, physics, computers, chemistry, life sciences blocks and permanent class rooms. Our college is having presently 350 students strength of final year, 450 of second year, 353 of first year, we have 64 students in PG thus there is a total strength of 1217 students. We have our own college premises of 2.26 acres of land which also includes 0.75 acres of well developed play ground. We have qualified and experienced teaching staff. As a result of the holistic education the college is imparting, the college secured 87% of result in March 2020 Degree exams and stood DISTRICT FIRST. The environment in the college makes students feel absolutely at home. From class rooms and laboratories to playgrounds, all the facilities and amenities are provided for the alround development of the students. The learner centered teaching methodlogy designed by academic experts prepare chamber’s students to successfully meet academic or corporate challenges and some of them are also getting campus placements in multi national companies every year.
The college has become a good educational institution in west godavari district, considering the all round development and infrastructural facilities available in the college, the management started PG courses ie M.Sc(Organic Chemistry) Separate labs and class rooms were constructed for P.G courses. Sri Vegesna Ranga Raju garu donated huge amount to start P.G courses.
Qualified and experienced faculty members were appointed specially for P.G courses. The teaching is characterized by strong faculty – student interaction and heavy emphasis on advanced study. Students are groomed in academic environment where they are trained to think creatively.
